DirectorDr. S.K. Dhawan, Ex-Chief Scientist CSIR-National Physical
Laboratory, New Delhi, India and presently working as Managing Director at Vikas
Lifecare Limited, New Delhi, India (a DSIR recognized industry). Dr. Dhawan has been
nominated in the top 2% Scientists in the world ranking as published by Stanford
University and Elsevier Foundation. Dr. Dhawan has worked in the area of Conducting
polymers Nano ferromagnetic composites for EMI shielding, Self-healing Smart
conducting polymer Coatings for corrosion protection, fly-ash composites for
antistatic and EMI shielding applications, and Waste plastic management.
Dr. Dhawan has worked on projects sponsored by General Electric, Corporate Research
& Development, USA; Reliance Industries, DRDO, DST, ISRO, Ministry of Environment &
Forest, CSIR Network Projects and Intelligent Coating Project.
Dr. Dhawan has published 180 papers, filed 8 US patents and 8 Indian Patents. 25
students have done their Ph.D. and 55 students have done their M.Sc./M.Tech.
Project. Dr. Dhawan has contributed 11 chapters in books and published 4 books.
Books published are (i) “Low Bandgap Random Copolymers for Photovolatic
Applications” published by Lambert Academic Publishing. (ii) Corrosion Preventive
Materials & Corrosion Testing” has been published by CRC Press, USA and (iii)
“Utilization of Plastic Waste: Technology and Applications” published by Lambert
Academic Publishing and (iv) Smart Materials Design for Electromagnetic Interference
Shielding Applications by Bentham Science Publishers. He has received Outstanding
Scientist Award in 2009 and DST-Lockheed Martin Innovation Award in 2014 for his
contribution in Self-healing coatings and ASDF Global Award in 2015. In 2017, he had
received Aryabhatta Sammana Award from Swadeshi Science Movement for his
contribution in Swachha Bharat Abihyyan towards Waste Plastic Utilization. His
technology on “Utilization of Waste Plastics for designing Tiles for Societal Usage”
has been selected in top Smart 50 Innovations by DST & IIM in 2018. In 2019, Dr.
Dhawan has received NRDC innovation award.

Shri. Deep Chand Jain is the Vice President (Projects) at Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), having more than 27 Years of diverse industry and corporate experience. He is a Mechanical Engineer with an MBA in finance & Executive Diploma in Project Management.
Mr. Jain carries over 24 years of rich experience in City Gas Distribution in IGL where he played a vital role towards efficient operations and maintenance in CNG & PNG verticals. He was keenly involved in planning & designing aspects of CNG & LNG stations and its equipment to positively influence the economy and processes. He has also been a key affiliate in speeding up the CNG and PNG infrastructure projects of IGL. In his early days of career, he was associated with Steel industry.

Shri. Sanjeev Kumar Bhatia

Shri. Sanjeev Kumar Bhatia is working as senior Vice President (Business Development
& Gas Sourcing) with Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL). He is a Graduate Mechanical
Engineer of year 1988 having 34 years of varied industry and corporate experience.
He also possesses additional qualification of MBA in Finance and P G Diploma in
Materials Management.
Mr Bhatia is with IGL for more than 19 years and prior to his current assignment, he
also handled Corporate Strategy, Contracts & Procurement, Stores, CNG Infra
Development functions in the organization.
He started his career with J K Tyre Industries Ltd. where he worked as mechanical
engineer for initial years before switching to commercial function in materials.
Before joining IGL, he also worked with Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited in
their materials function.
He is a life-time member of Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM) and
currently an office bearer at IIMM Delhi branch.
Dr. Anshumali Bhushan
Dr. Anshumali Bhushan has more than 2 decades of experience
spanning Defence Products, FM Radio, Weather, Electrical Distribution and Gas
Distribution as an entrepreneur. Being a serial Entrepreneur and Co-Founder of
Genesis, he developed and worked with prestigious Department of Defence Research in
India, and later also developed products for the Electrical Distribution Automation,
and Commercial Loss Reduction for Power Distribution Companies. The product also won
the prestigious National Productivity Council (Under Niti Aayog) Award in the
category of best innovation.
Dr. Anshumali, as a special assignment, also worked as an Advisor to the President
of Cote’d Ivoire for IT and Biotechnology in which he created vitib a specialized
Park for IT and Biotechnology in Abidjan, Cote’ d Ivoire. From there he went to also
create a Telemedicine company in Cameroun, which revived the health systems and
brought affordable health in reach of its citizens.
In 2017, he along with his Co-Founder started product development for Smart Gas
Metering and promoted Genesis Gas Solutions Pvt Ltd., which grabbed the smart meter
market share in India and which finally collaborated with IGL, India’s largest City
Gas Distribution company to create a New Joint Venture, IGL Genesis Technologies
Ltd. To manufacture Diaphragm based Gas Meters in India.
Dr. Anshumali is currently the CEO of IGL Genesis Technologies and responsible for
the vision of the company to make Smart Metering affordable and dependable by the
millions of Gas consumers in India, which is in line with the growth target set by
the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas of India.
Dr. Anshumali is on the CII National Committee on IT/ites 2022 – 2023, and 2023 –
2024. He was a speaker in India-Israel Workshop on Cyber-Security and a Member of
National Sub Committee on Cyber Security under CII IT&ITES Committee 2022- 2023. In
Oct. 2022, Dr. Anshumali was the leader of the National Delegation to Qatar along
with the Vice President of India.
Dr. Anshumali loves to speak on Automation, Smart Metering, iot Systems and Cyber
Defence. His passion is mentoring startups for Investments and Business Plans for
incubates.

Dr. Indrajeet spawns two and a half decade of Product development experience in the roles of Chief Technology Officer, and Co-Founder in designing and implementing solutions for complex customer requirements. Dr. Indrajeet helped create products which are today being used in Defence FM broadcast planning, Weather, Electrical Distribution and Gas Metering. His work on Commercial Loss Reduction for Power Distribution Companies also won the prestigious National Productivity Council Award in the category of best innovation.
In 2016, he along with his Co-Founder started product development for Meter Data Management (MDM) which is the most complex piece in smart metering and initially built it for Electrical Utilities and later completely tailored it for Smart Gas Metering while promoting Genesis Gas Solutions Pvt Ltd., which grabbed the smart meter market share in India and which finally collaborated with IGL, India’s largest City Gas Distribution company to create a New Joint Venture, IGL Genesis Technologies Ltd. To manufacture Diaphragm based Gas Meters in India.
Dr. Indrajeet is currently the CTO of IGL Genesis Technologies and works on solution inception, design, development, technology budgeting and the team selection. He sets the tone, for best practices & process as well as quality standards.

Mr. Praveen Kumar
Shri. Praveen Kumar is a Chartered Accountant and a Commerce Graduate of Delhi
University.
He has post qualification experience of about 25 years in the areas of Financial
Evaluation, Audit, Taxation, Costing, Corporate Accounting, Budgeting, Finance and
Risk Management. Presently, he is General Manager Finance at Indraprastha Gas
Limited (IGL), New Delhi, a leading city gas distribution company in India. Earlier
he has been associated with Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) as a Finance
professional in diversified roles at manufacturing Units and Corporate Office of
BHEL.
He has been deputed from IGL as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of IGL Genesis
Technologies Limited (IGTL)- A JV of IGL and Genesis Gas Solutions Pvt Ltd. for
setting up of India’s first Integrated Smart Gas Meter Manufacturing plant.
Mr. Joydeep Bhattacharya
Shri. Joydeep Bhattacharya is General Manager-Business Development of Indraprastha
Gas Limited (IGL), New Delhi. He has been part of IGL - India’s largest city gas
distribution (CGD) company for more than 17 years in different roles like Operations
& Maintenance, Projects, Engineering services and Procurement.
He completed his B.E in 2002 and started his career in the automobile field
associated with fuel circulation & fuel injection systems before moving onto the
energy sector. Lately as a part of the business development team of IGL, he has been
involved with various diversification initiatives of IGL into alternative fuels in
line with sustainability goals specifically in the field of carbon neutral fuels
like hydrogen. He has also been working on the feasibility studies of production,
storage & distribution of Green Hydrogen to be utilized for blending with Natural
Gas for residential, automotive, commercial & industrial usage and for refueling of
fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV).
He has been deputed from IGL as Chief Projects and Purchase Officer (CPPO) of IGL
Genesis Technologies Limited (IGTL)- A JV of IGL and Genesis Gas Solutions Pvt Ltd.
for setting up of India’s first Integrated Smart Gas Meter Manufacturing plant.
